Hi, Clare. I work at Microsoft, looking at ways we can apply our software + services to help people and businesses around the world acheive their full potential ... which to me is all about helping foster a brightgreen world. Not exactly sure how I came across this network, probably through Alex Steffen at worldchanging.org
Hi Clare, I finally made it, thanks so much for inviting me. As you know, I'm new to social networking - almost everything I know about it I learned from you! Anyway, it's great to be here and I can't wait to meet everyone else.
Okay - the streak lives on! Thanks, Clare. We still have to figure out that Yahoo MSN ranking. Our PR release had us on MSN about 4-pages deep. No luck with the Yahoo listings. We launched at the end of last year and signed an exclusivity deal with the European Supply Chain Institute & Carbon Council for the EU. That was huge for us... especially as a US company. We're just launching our courses and certification in the US starting in May.
Thanks, Clare. I'm excited. I'll one set of lenses to look through that may have a different perspective, so I hope it is beneficial. And we were pumped last night - our business site hit number one on google out of 2M listings - google "green supply chain" and I'd be interested in where we land.
Hi Clare! I had heard about ning.com actually in a business magazine. I found your site from the search engine and thought it would be a great place to be able to discuss what it means to be green along letting people know of the online sustainability training that our company offers for business professionals and those that just wish to increase their own personal knowledge.
Hi Clare. Same ol' same ol'. I'm thinking of adding an offsite backup service as a product also. Would be like $1.80/month per 1GB. What do you think?

What is your business, profession or role in the community?
I am a green graphic designer, as well as an entrepreneur. My current enterprise is a website for single parents called http://iheartsingleparents.com which will be expanding soon!
How do you define or represent being "green"?
Being green is a call to action and a new movement, involving taking responsibility for our effects on the planet and doing whatever we can to stop global warming. Taking care of the planet so the world will be a safe place to live for our descendants.
Being eco-conscious, not just in our daily lives, but in the way we run our business. Asking "how can we be as Earth-friendly as possible with each step we take". If you are an online business, you are inherently green.
What are your services?
We offer support, advice, inspiration, fun and community for the single parent. We want single parents everywhere to embrace their circumstances and our website can help them do that. They can learn they are not alone!
