- What is your business, profession or role in the community?

- How do you define or represent being "green"?
- By it's nature, writing is a fairly "green" occupation because it takes very few resources to do what I do. However, I think I bring a particular "greeness" to projects because I work very hard to apply marketing principals to the content I write so my clients get better results from their marketing materials. This means when we do need to print, we waste a lot less energy, paper, and effort producing materials that don't work. Of course I do all the usual stuff (I am in Oregon, after all) - recycling, reducing and reusing around the office - but my greatest contribution lies in creating:
- More successful sales calls so my clients aren't wasting their drive time;
- Learning, teaching and implementing web-based marketing methods so my clients are less reliant on paper-based products; and
- Helping people succeed so they rise on the "needs pyramid' and have more energy to focusing on issues outside themselves - like taking care of other people and the environment

- I write for businesses and teach them how to communicate more effectively with their clients, their staff, and their vendors. For example, I write: Print/Web copy, Narrative, News content, grants, advertising, public relations materials, business plans, and much more.
